Since 2010, and thanks to the support of Alpha Culture, WIELS and the nonprofit organisation Lire et Ecrire Bruxelles Sud have offered weekly art workshops to an adult literacy group.

A GARDEN FOR EVERYBODY
Located between WIELS and BRASS, the garden, with its collective vegetable plots, rest area and beehives is open to our visitors and neighbours.
This participative project is a WIELS initiative, developed in partnership with BliB (Dutch library) and Forest's Maison des Jeunes.

TESTIMONIES PUBLICATION
WIELS has commissioned the young graphic designers who founded Überknackig, based here in Forest, to design a publication that documents ten of the social-artistic projects WIELS has led over the past five years with the participation of local residents.

MURMUUR
At the initiative of WIELS, the artists Sandra Plantiveau, Marion Fabien and Camille Nicolle coordinated during 6 months art workshops for a group of children aged 5 to 10 years. The result of this process is a large fresco on wood, combining drawings and collages, that will be installed along the participatory garden on the fence between WIELS and BRASS.
