About this exhibition
Specific Sunset by Tiago Mestre architecturally ‘scales’ ( 10:1 / a scale that is never used in architectural practice as its “bigger than reality”) the emotional intensity of film to produce an altered sense of both the real interior of the project room and the emotional interiority of the viewer.
Tiago Mestre (Portugal, 1978) is a PhD student in Architecture and Visual Arts in Lisbon who currently participates in the Metropole Alliance workshop of the Wiels artist-in-residency program.
Specific Sunset takes place during 50 minutes in the Project Room at the back of WIELS at 5pm on Wednesday 02.09.
